It's not like this has really been secret, but Zoe has been working for quite a while. You can find her feeds in Zoe's Collected Away Messages.
Currently, I'm working on figuring out a way to get the away messages from AIM's horribly evil HTML to something that is valid and renders correctly for the webpages.
